This 1991 Volkswagen Golf GTI 16V was optioned without a sunroof and a radio and spent time in New York and Missouri before the seller’s acquisition in April 2022. Finished in Tornado Red over gray cloth upholstery, the car is powered by a 16-valve 2.0L inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ BBS wheels, Recaro front seats, a Techtonics exhaust system and engine management software, aftermarket springs, and a Mk3 serpentine belt system. Fluid services were performed and ignition components were replaced in 2022. This Mk2 GTI shows 162k miles and is now offered at no reserve with service records, a car cover, spare parts, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title in the seller’s name.

The seller reports the serpentine belt squeals when idling.
