Description

This 1992 Volkswagen Golf GTI 16V is a US-market example that was sold in Texas and was subsequently exported to the Netherlands, where it spent most of its life before it was acquired by the seller and re-imported to the US in 2022. Showing 53k miles, the car is finished in Tornado Red over gray cloth upholstery and powered by a 16-valve 2.0L inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a sunroof, 15″ BBS wheels, Recaro front seats, air conditioning, and a European-market Philips cassette stereo. An oil change was performed and the shifter bushings were replaced in December 2022. This Mk2 GTI is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title in the seller’s name.
