This 1991 Volkswagen Golf GTI 16V was initially delivered to C. Richard Cronin, Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio, and was acquired over two decades ago by the seller’s father. Acquired by the seller in 2014, the car is finished in Tornado Red over gray velour cloth upholstery. Power is provided by a 2.0-liter inline-four that has reportedly been fitted with a 1.8L-specification cylinder head, and additional equipment includes a replacement five-speed manual transaxle, a short-throw shifter, a sunroof, a NEUSPEED engine control unit (ECU) tuning chip, aftermarket exhaust components, adjustable Koni dampers, NEUSPEED springs and anti-roll bars, aftermarket 16″ wheels, a MOMO steering wheel, and Recaro front bucket seats.
